Daniel Cervantes is a senior executive and entrepreneurial operator with over two decades building, scaling, and leading initiatives across the private and social impact sectors. Grounded in his lived experience, Daniel’s work focuses on advancing equitable access to economic mobility through systems change and community-powered solutions. His professional work has bridged community voice, operational excellence and cross-sector collaboration.

Prior to joining Brilliant Cities, Daniel served in various roles, including spearheading the launch of affiliate sites, resulting in job placements across the country and driving systems level change around how and where employers hired from, using a jobs-first model. Daniel serves on the board of the Leadership Council for Loyola University Chicago’s Baumhart Center, and Territory NFP. Daniel earned his MBA from Loyola University Chicago and undergraduate from DePaul University. He is a 2016 Fellow of the University of Chicago’s Civic Leadership Academy and Catalyst member with the Stand Together Foundation.
