Outer Drive-Hayes, which overlaps with the larger Denby footprint, is a neighborhood in east Detroit with beautiful quaint brick homes, an Art Deco high school, and the beautiful, newly renovated Skinner Park. The young residents of the neighborhood formed the Denby Neighborhood Alliance to revitalize the community in and outside of Denby High School by implementing initiatives and programs that promote economic, social and cultural development of the community. And on Whittier Avenue, a new vision for a business corridor is taking shape. Brilliant Detroit is excited to work alongside the families of this community to promote Kid Success.
