Martin Park is a small but mighty neighborhood in Detroit, once home to many of the stars of Motown. The inhabitants of this community formed the New Martin Park District Association to bring neighbors together and revitalize the Martin Park Community and refer to themselves as ‘One Big Family.’ The people of this neighborhood thrive off of community involvement. This community is currently leading many projects to meet the challenge of eliminating blight in the neighborhood and building a sustainable, green community. Our Brilliant Detroit hub adds to the efforts of the Martin Park Community by promoting kid success and serving as a gathering place for neighbors.
