Roz graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in Education and then obtained her JD at the University of Michigan Law School. She has worked as a longtime volunteer in the Jewish community and for education more broadly. She served as the President of the Women’s Philanthropy Department of the Jewish Federation and, in 2002, she was a founder of Bookstock, an annual used book and media sale in Metro Detroit. She has volunteered with and supported Brilliant Detroit since its inception.
